BRB, I’m bringing out my gram’s crochet heirlooms to admire in a whole new light.

Designers have embraced crochet for the new season and you might too after seeing it’s beautiful reinterpretation. The irony tho: We are living In a world where clothing (almost anything for that matter) can be made for the masses in a matter of mere days. It’s interesting to see crochet, a DIY way of making clothing and other textiles of decades past (that takes patience and time BTW) having a moment in spring collections. While I’m pretty sure that the big brands are not crocheting a maxi dress by hand, it’s still giving me all the retro feels. I’m loving the nostalgia it brings and a touch of texture it can add to just about anything you’re wearing. I’m feeling this trend in such a way that I’m now motivated to work on my own crochet skills. If you’re part of the crochet crew, now is the time to bring out your hooks and yarn to make something truly unique. If not, these crochet finds are fashion set approved.
