LESSON #1

A cool rain coat makes a rainy day better.  Spring is notorious for unpredictable downpours. Don’t get caught up in one without a rain coat. Bypass all the basic and predictable varieties and look for one that catches the eye with an interesting silhouette and stand out details.  Keep it on standby for when you need to dodge raindrops….stylishly. Once you find that perfect rain coat and make it yours, you’ll probably wish for more rain just so you can wear it.

LESSON #2

A trench coat can pull your entire look together. Some days you need a coat that’s light enough to throw on in a flash to beat the spring chills. The classic trench coat is up for the task.  If you already have a classic trench in your arsenal, give yourself an upgrade to a trench that’s been reimagined for the modern girl.

LESSON #3

Black is never a bore.  In fact, it gets even more dramatic when you play with black textures. Feel free to mix your black leather moto with a silky black slip dress or wear your black lace dress over super slim black wax jeans. All you really need is to add one unique textured hero piece to your head-to-toe black look. If you want to add more, go right ahead because there’s no way you can mess black up.

LESSON #4

Sunglasses are more than just an accessory.  Everybody knows they protect your eyes from the harsh rays of the sun and they hide the tell-tale signs of a sleepless night but they’re also a way to express your individuality and add some mystery to your look. Whether you like yours covered in logos or crystals, add a pair to your signature street style.

LESSON #5

Slip-on sneakers are here to stay. If you have yet to pick up a pair, the question that begs to be answered is: What are you waiting forSure, you love your heels but let’s be honest–sometimes your feet need a break.  If you cringe at the thought of sacrificing the height heels offer, you can still get a nice boost with a platform slip-on AND you don’t have to compromise on style either as some of the biggest names in the footwear biz have been putting their signature touch on slip-on sneakers for several seasons now. The result? Luxurious sneakers that are more than worthy of a street snap and a spot in your spring/summer footwear lineup. Whether you like yours covered in ornate bits of glitz, embellished with oversized bows or if you gravitate to metallics or the laser cut varieties, there’s a slip-on sneaker to match your every mood.
